Taiko drums, Japanese traditional buyo dance and festive dance, traditional musical instruments, the beauty of the Chanoyu presentation, Japanese martial arts, Okinawa traditional dance & taiko, and Anime Girls performance — all this will bring the esthetic gifts of Japanese culture to Austin and Central Texas during the 2017 Japan Fall Festival ~ JASGA’s 11th Aki Matsuri.
Visitors will enjoy a range of Japanese food and sweets, a drink sampler, Japanese arts, games, anime goods, a yukata booth, calligraphy, hands-on origami, and Japanese traditional and contemporary entertainment. In addition, there will be a Silent Auction for items such as an airline ticket to Japan, restaurants and massage/spa gift certificates, Japanese art collections, anime & festive goods, games, kimono, obi sash, accessories, door prizes, and more!
