Explore Asian Culture through a fashion lens! Journey through the history of the kimono, sari and hijab at the Asian American Resource Center this summer. Be inspired by the tradition, style and fashion.
Saturday, June 17th from 1pm – 3pm; The Austin Japanese Minyo Group presents the rich history and intricacy of the Japanese garment. Opportunity to learn how to wear Yukata, a type of kimono which is worn in the summer.
Free, but RSVP required due to limited space. Recommended for ages 16 and up. Located in Classroom#8.
