I am so excited for our first event! Are you interested in Exposing your child to Spanish or learning alongside him/her! We are hosting an event to talk about that and tell you how.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know Spanish or are fluent, we want to meet like minded individuals that want to raise GOOD kids that embrace diversity, language, culture and maybe want to learn a little Spanish along the way. Finding a group of mama’s that valued language and diversity was difficult for me and so I set out to create a community of parents that share this value and want it to be part of their everyday life. We will have inspiring stories from Non Natives that have taken the bilingual challenge raising bilingual kids, we will talk about resources we can start using to help you down the journey (we created an app for parents wanting to raise bilingual children and its organized by routines and activities – as well as other tools I have found useful along the way), and most importantly, we can mingle and meet other parents that have kids of similar age, that may live close, and have similar values. We will have Spanish Book Reading for the kiddos as well as song games. Lite snacks and drinks will be provided!
Spread the word to your friends, schools, nannies and neighbors. We can’t wait to meet all of you. Help make this a success and we would be happy to make this a monthly event.
Feel free to create an event on Facebook if its easier to spread the word. If you can, it would be very helpful if you can help me reach more mommy groups.”
