Join us for an informative presentation with Amy Bluemel, a member of the Chickasaw Nation. Amy will share traditional stories. She will explain the meaning behind her regalia and will bring artifacts and share their history.

Amy educates about Southeastern culture through her storytelling at museums, festivals, libraries and schools. Amy also dances with the Native American Dance Troupe Chikashsha Hithla. When not storytelling she creates original artwork for medicine boxes, painting, jewelry, finger-weaving, and Native American nutcrackers. Amy resides in Austin Texas with her two daughters and husband.
