You are invited to come learn the history, beauty, and application of henna on Tuesday, July 24th from 2-4. Known as mehndi in Hindi, henna is an all-natural product made from ground henna tree leaves. It is mixed into a paste and applied to the hands, feet, arms, or legs for a temporary tattoo lasting 1-2 weeks. The paste stains the skin naturally but will also stain clothing so you may want to wearing something you don’t mind getting a bit of henna on.
Registration is required. For more information, visit the library website.
