2017 Día de los Muertos Workshops: Three Times To Come

“Come and celebrate Día de los Muertos by participating in our FREE 2017 Dia de los Muertos Workshops! This year we will be offering Bella Muerte, Dulce Vida: Sugar Skill workshops & Dia con las Calaveras a Storybook Performance. Spaces fill quickly, register today!” Ages 4+

  • Bella Muerte, Dulce Vida: Sugar Skill workshops:

In this class you will learn the traditional art of sugar skull making! During these hands-on workshops, both children and adults are invited to help us create sugar skulls for our annual event! Participants will learn more about the significance of Día de los Muertos and the beginning process of the sugar skull construction. Participants will receive a complimentary sugar skulls kit to decorate at home!”

  • Día con las Calaveras a Storybook Performance: family

Learn the cultural significance of Día de los Muertos through storybooks activities. We will be creating fun characters and exploring the world of Rosita y Conchiata a tale of twin sister who find themselves worlds apart!  Workshop will be based on the epically wonderful story by Eric Gonzalez & Erich Haeger.” Ages 5 – 12
