Taking to the Road: The Austin Migrant Farmworkers Connection is a community photographic exhibit curated by historian Gloria Espitia.  This exhibit highlights the seasonal pilgrimage by Austin and central Texas Mexican American residents who would migrate throughout Texas and other states to work as migrant farmworkers during the 1940s – 1970s.  The exhibit uses photo images, snippets from oral history interviews and artifacts to help illustrate the farmworkers lives.  Opening receptions from 6 – 8pm
