PANDIT RONU MAJUMDAR

India’s ace flautist, Pt Ronu Majumdar learned the Bansuri under the guidance of his father Dr. Bhanu Majumdar, and gurus Pt. Lakshman Prasad Jaipurwale and Pt. Vijay Raghav Rao. His music is rooted in the Maihar gharana which has also schooled legends like Pt Ravi Shankar and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He will be accompanied by Maestro Gourisankar on the Tabla.
