MAZEL TOV KOCKTAIL HOUR: Klezmer, or Yiddish music, can be described as the traditional music of the Jews of Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and central Europe. Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour is a group of seasoned musicians, each with 20-30 years experience playing music professionally, who have chosen to study this form of traditional music and carry it on. Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour focuses on re-imagining the style based on the earliest known (and surviving) recordings made in the style, mostly from before 1930.
