About La Vida Buena:
La Vida Buena may look the part, but they are NOT your typical salsa band from Austin. Sure they have the usual suspects like piano, congas, and timbales, but what happens on stage is much more than that.
Their performance brings together sophisticated Latin riffs with elements of jazz and hip hop to keep dancers in step and the crowds grooving.
The members of La Vida Buena have coined the term, salsafication, to help describe their unique arrangement style, specifically when covering popular songs like Gin and Juice and Rolling in the Deep. The result leaves you wondering if Snoop Dogg could be half Cuban or Adele, a secret member of the Buena Vista Social Club.
