December 3rd (6:30pm) & 4th (3pm) 2016

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD BORIKEN CALLING YOU? Borinki Soy honors the brave men, women and children who went to Hawaii in 1900 in search of a better life after Hurricane San Ciriaco devastated our Island. They never forgot who they were.

Join Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance for our 14th original, bilingual musical that brings history to life through community theater, featuring live music and dance.

14th bilingual play by Tekina-eiru Maynard. We thank those who shared oral and documented history including: Jesus Reyes (Juncos), Marian Montalbo and Kathy Marzan Montalbo (Hawai’i), and Clifford Pagan (Maui).

Borinki Soy will take place December 3rd (6:30pm) & 4th (3pm) 2016 at the theatre at Eastside Memorial High School, 1012 Arthur Stiles Rd, Austin, TX 78721. Adult tickets are $15.00 in advance ($20.00 day of the show). Child tickets (ages 3-12) are $5.00. Lap children 2 and under are free. Tickets sales coming soon.
