In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Mexic-Arte Museum presents the Taste of Mexico, an exciting evening of food, music and fiesta featuring Mexican cuisine by some of Austin’s finest restaurants and businesses. Taste of Mexico is Mexic-Arte Museum’s annual benefit dedicated to the culinary arts. Taste of Mexico 2016 will be held at Brazos Hall on Wednesday, April 27th from6:00 to 9:00 PM. The event will feature over 40 restaurants and beverage purveyors, providing a festive occasion to taste an array of savory Mexican cuisine and drinks. Taste of Mexico ticket sales and sponsorships not only celebrate the art and culture of Mexico, but also support the Mexic-Arte Museum in its mission to offer enriching educational programs. These programs include after-school outreach art classes, guided school tours and family gallery guides, which help students gain knowledge, pride and skills enabling them to succeed in school and in the future.
