“Mariposas Spanish School has been teaching children Spanish since its inception in 1999. Home grown in Austin, TX, we bring extra-curricular Spanish classes to your child’s school, home, or community center. Mariposas is a hands-on, thematically organized program that allows children ages 2-10 to learn Spanish through music, literature, games, visual aids, sign language, art and beyond. The program runs from September through May with a two week summer camp in June plus additional weekly camp sessions offered in June & July. Your child can enroll in Mariposas Spanish classes at any time.”

Brief Description: It’s not just any camp…it’s Mariposas Spanish camp! Children have a blast learning and practicing their Spanish through outdoor games, yoga, culture-focused activities such as cooking, music, dance, science, and geography. Campers are divided into groups by age/level and rotate between classes as they explore the culture of this year’s country: Costa Rica. The children will also be focusing on the importance of environmental responsibility and awareness. 
At Mariposas camps, children strengthen their Spanish skills while learning about Latin culture through fun, hands-on activities!
